What do the Souls Stand for?

Warning! Please do not look at this until you either watch or play Undertale, for there are spoilers ahead!

Hey guys. It's been awhile since I've posted something, I've been very busy. Today I'm going to do something different.(Also, none of these pictures belong to me.)

Most if us know what the different souls stand for. Each color represents something (Ex. Red is Determination). There may be a reason why the colors are shown at certain points in the game. I have an idea why, but it's just a theory.

1. Red stands for Determination; The power to keep going. You see it throughout the game when you fight a monster. Your soul and Chara's soul are red. Depending on which path you take, your soul could mean different things. You may have the determination to show mercy to all monsters, or you may have the determination to kill.

"See that? That's your soul, the very
culmination of your being!"
-Flowey the Flower
2. Light Blue is Patience; Exception of a delay. Light blue is shown when you first meet Doggo,  the first character you meet that's apart of the royal guard. You must remain still to keep yourself from getting hurt from the blue attack, meaning you must be patient.

"Don't move an inch!"
-Doggo
3. Dark Blue is Integrity; Having good moral principles. It also means that you are honest with what you say. It's first shown when you fight Papyrus the skeleton. Papyrus is honest and he thinks that what he's doing is right. When you spare him, you can become friends with him and he changes his mind on capturing a human. You end up changing his integrity on humans.

"You're blue now... That's
my attack."
-Papyrus

4. Green is Kindness; Being friendly and generous. You first see it when you fight Undyne, the leader of the royal guard. You can't use the flee option when you're green, and you must protect yourself during that time. In order to show mercy to Undyne, you must flee when you turn red. She'll chase you into Hotland until a certain point, where she'll collapse on the bridge in dehydration. You show kindness when you give her the cup of water. When she stands back up, she walks away, defeated.

"As long as you're green, you can't
escape! Unless you learn to face
danger head on... you won't last a
second against me!"
-Undyne

6. Orange is Bravery; Behaving in a courageous way. It's the opposite of a blue attack, you have to be moving to keep yourself from getting hurt. The orange attacks are in Hotland in the form of lasers, and in the fight with Asgore. It takes bravery to commit that action (Please don't go writing comments saying "NO IT DOESN'T!" Heed my words!). Also, there isn't really a picture for orange attacks, sorry.

7. Purple is Perseverance; Trying to achieve your goal, no matter what. You first see purple mode when you fight Muffet. Your movements are restricted to three webs, while spiders and boomerangs come at you, When I first had to fight Muffet, I had a hard time. Also, I kept dying and dying, but I persevered and found a way to beat her quickly. You have to persevere to beat her.

"I think purple is a better look on you!"
-Muffet

5. Yellow is Justice; Morally right treatment or behavior. You first see it when you're fighting Mettaton for the second time. The fight comes up right after the color tile puzzle. You show justice to Mettaton in that battle and when you fight him as Mettaton EX. When you get enough ratings at the end of the EX battle, he will see that you have shown him justice and he believes you can get past Asgore.

"See that yellow button? Now press Z!"
-Alphys
Thank you for looking at this post. I don't know when chapter 3 on "Verdana's Life at Snowdin" will come out, but I'm working on it. If you want, please comment and share this with your friends!
