Verdana's Life at Snowdin: Chapter 1.5: The Skeleton Brothers
As I turned around, I couldn't believe what I saw. I thought that me and my Mom were the only skeletons here. I saw a tall skeleton in a warrior looking outfit, stomping towards another skeleton, who was shorter and wore a blue hoodie. "SAAAAAAAAAANS!" The skeleton shouted, looking at the other. "You weren't at your post! What are you even doing?"
"Papyrus, I'm on break. I've been working myself, down to the bone." the other replied, winking at the pun he made. It made me giggle a bit. "Sans! Oh my god!" he said, with frustration. "Come on Papyrus, I see you smiling." "I know and I hate it!" he said, stomping off to the town. I moved away from the trees, I became very interested in them, since I never saw them before. As I stepped closer, I heard a shout a help.
I ran to where the shout came from, and the sight horrified me. A monster kid fell into the river! I ran to the river in a panic, looking for something for something to have the kid grab onto. I grabbed a long stick and stretched my hand out to reach the kid. "Grab hold!" I said. He grabbed the stick with his mouth. When I pulled him in, I saw that he didn't have arms. I brought him to the inn. " Somebody get a towel! He's freezing!" I said. The receptionist ran upstairs to get a towel. Some people ran inside to see what happened. The receptionist came back down and dried off the kid. She then went to get him some tea. I asked the kid what happened, and he began his story.
How did the kid fall into the river? See the next part to find out.
